Cardiologist
Dr. Maranda is a graduate of McGill Medical School and completed Internal Medicine training at the University of Toronto in 2004. He undertook Cardiology training at the Royal Victoria Hospital in the McGill program from 2004 to 2007 and in 2008 pursued a fellowship in Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology at Stanford.
Dr. Maranda joined the Ottawa Cardiovascular Centre in September, 2008. His major areas of interest include advanced Heart Failure Management, stress echocardiography and general non-invasive cardiology. He shares his time with the Hawkesbury General Hospital, and also sees patients at the Orleans branch of OCC.
Dr. Maranda is fluent in English and French. Interests outside of medicine include downhill skiing, mountain biking, sports car racing and frequenting Montreal Canadiens games.
